Farewell “Route 166”

On May 29th we moved from our home in Draper.  It was a sad, sad day.  I loved it there.  We made lasting friends and had the best neighbors.  My kids grew up in that little house and it makes me sad just thinking about it.  Everything went really smooth with our move.  We hired movers to move us out so I literally did not lift a box that day.   That was an awesome blessing.  We are happy that we were able to sale our home to people from our ward that were living in the apartments.  I was actually Becky’s visiting teacher for 4 years so I was really happy for her and her husband to be in home.  But I do miss that place.  We find ourselves in the old neighborhood a lot and it still feels like home…like we belong there.  But I know in time we will have that feeling here in our new home and neighborhood.  Everything takes time!

Graduate #1

On May 21st Sophie had her preschool graduation.  She sure has grown up a lot this year.  I had a great time rotating with the other moms to help teach these girls.  They were tons of fun plus a little drama too.  Sophie is a sweet girl who makes friends easily and stands up for herself pretty well.  Good job little lady!
