We are loving our new little Luke!  And who can believe its been two weeks already?  It’s hard to believe that just 15 days ago we didn’t even know that he was a boy or who he was.  He has fit in really well with us and in most ways, it feels like he’s been here forever.  We went to the doctor yesterday so here are his stats… 7 lbs. 13 oz. (50%), 20 3/4 in. (70%), 15 in. head (80%).  Sounds just like a Grossen baby to me!   Here are a slew of new pictures from the last 2 weeks.

Thankfully he has overcome the jaundice from the first week!  He is looking a little less yellow everyday.

We have made a few outings to Costco and Cafe Rio.  He was a good boy the whole time.  In general he is a very good boy.  He gets sad when he has a burp stuck or if he is ready to be held.  But he has some pretty calm awake times where he likes to stare at the lights or picture frames throughout the house.  He is a good eater for the most part although sometimes we have a hard time staying awake during a feeding.  And so far he has a good sleeping pattern…but who knows if it will last!

He is adored by his siblings.  They have been so cute with him.  He has an incredibly strong neck and can hold his head so well already.  Tummy time is no problem!  We are so grateful for this little guy in our home.  He has increased our love and made us even happier than before!

  1. He is so precious, Ame! Can’t wait to hold him in a week! It really is crazy that he was a mystery for so long and now it just seems normal to have him in the family! Isaac is so excited to meet his new cousin! Love this new little guy!

  2. LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!! It really is amazing the love they can bring. I think Tommy has been changed forever. How I wish I could hold little Luke right now. I miss my newborn! I’m so glad he’s good for you on the go. Lily is still struggling in that department. She screams the whole time in the car. (Gave me a few white hairs last night when stuck in traffic 🙂
