I don’t know what happens to time when you get older, but it really does fly by. How is it possible that March was already 3 months ago? It’s crazy to me.
The first weekend in March I was able to go to Boise with Kerri and James to be with Kimmy when she received her endowment which was awesome. It was also her bridal shower that weekend. Good times! Dan was so kind to stay home with the kiddos. It was fun to get away and spend time with my siblings and parents but I missed my little family.
When I got back Jack and Luke had fevers. So I ended up taking them to the doctor the next day, which looked a little something like this…
3 kids at the doctor is a pretty big challenge. But everything checked out just fine for the boys so we suppose it was a virus. But then within a few days this happened…
…ear infection. That is what it looks like when you have ear tubes and get an infection. All the gunk pours out and you get to treat it with antibiotic ear drops. It is pretty unpleasant to give your kid ear drops! They hate it! And once again, Luke cannot catch a break! Still getting ear infections even with tubes! (As I type this, he is being treated for his 3rd one!).
School is still awesome. Here are a few school photos from the month. One of Jack’s many awesome stories and Sophie the Leprechaun.
Luke in his favorite spot while I’m in the shower! Under my bathroom sink.
On the way to pick up Sophie from preschool one afternoon, we got a flat tire. We were probably 2 miles from her teacher’s house. I tried to just keep going but I could tell it was bad so we stopped. And sure enough there was a huge bolt sticking out of the tire. Geez Louise. Thank goodness for a few things…1.Cell Phones 2.Mrs. King for being so nice and letting Sophie hang out for an extra hour 3.Free roadside assistance for life. Everything worked out just fine but it was a little hectic in the moment. Can’t believe the odds on that one!
One of the rewards Jack earned for doing well with his behavior at school was getting ice cream sundaes at Leatherby’s. It did not disappoint. They even had a dairy free, egg free option for Luke which he didn’t even touch! Our combined family probably ate 1/3 of all that ice cream. It was way too much! Great job Jack, Jack!
We enjoyed the lovely March weather with a few park days. And just like every spring, I loved watching the bulbs I plant in the fall come up in full bloom!
Jack played indoor soccer during the month of March. It was a lot of fun. He did so well and was very aggressive. The final game he had 1 assist and 2 goals. He was able to be on a team with his friends Sam and Dallin which they thought was super fun! I loved that we never had to worry about the weather. Last season of spring soccer had its cold moments so I really loved that!
Luke got his first real haircut! Brittany gave him a little trim back in January to get his mullet in check. But near the end of March we got out the clippers and gave him his first style. He looked so grown up and blonde!
