I love to see the temple

I have been wanting to take Jack to Temple Square all summer.  And this past weekend, we finally made it.  And because he loved it so much, I have every intention of taking him back before it becomes a snowy blizzard.  Blah!  He loved being there.  He loved the grass, the dirt, the flowers, the trees, the statues and of course, the fountains.  Especially the reflecting pond.  It was a beautiful way to spend Labor Day.  I love my little family!

Looking for President Monson.

Playing with his favorite person

He got soaked.  I just wanted a cute picture of him with Dan.  And he could not take his eyes off the water.  Maybe we should have gone to the pool instead that day!

These are the Laker flowers I found (some things are never far from our minds!)

Dan’s rebuttal…Jazz flowers he found.

  1. I LOVE LOVE LOVE that picture of him not too happy that he has to stop playing in the water to have Mommy take a picture. I just want to kiss those big cheeks. I can’t wait to see him. I can’t wait to see you guys in 6 days!!

  2. Before I even read your comment about the flowers I said, “Those are Laker flowers”. What a sick mind we all have. I too, got a kick out of Jack’s expression when he had to stop playing in the water. He looks very grown up in that picture.–and then the shot of him walking–stop growing up so fast. I can’t wait to see him in person just taking off in full-force walking mode. Can’t wait to chase Jack around our backyard in 13 days.
